Watching the Tropics

In the far eastern Atlantic we are now watching a system of low pressure with showers and thunderstorms associated with it. Models are now being run on this system and the SHIPS intensity model indicate that this entity could become a tropical storm tomorrow. This may a bit aggressive given since early July is not an ideal time for storm to develop in this area. I will continue to monitor and update tomorrow.
